Hub 5x114.3, bore 64.1 mm: how the size bands were set
  • 16″: 215/55 R16 · 7–7.5J · ET40–50. Honda EU press pack: 215/55 R16 on 16-inch. OE 16070A 7J ET45 (TDX Mk10 parts guide); wheel-size.com shows 7Jx16 ET45 with 215/55 R16 for the EU 1.0 VTEC. Width +0.5J and offset ±5 mm are assumed, verify before buying.
  • 17″: 235/45 R17 · 8–8.5J · ET45–55. Honda EU press pack: 235/45 R17 on 17-inch. OE 17080A 17x8J ET50 (eBay UK listing; the TDX guide also gives 8J with 235/45 R17). Width +0.5J and offset ±5 mm are assumed, verify before buying.
  • FK8 Type R uses 5x120 and 20-inch wheels with bigger brakes; not covered.
  • The 7Jx17 ET45 with 215/50 R17 on wheel-size and TDX is the saloon/US wheel, not the EU hatch 17-inch.
  • TDX reports 235/40 R18 (TGL-18080A) on top trims; Honda EU press material confirms only 16 and 17 inch, so 18-inch is left out until verified.
  • Chassis codes FK6/FK7 (1.0/1.5 petrol) and FK9 (1.6 diesel); Swindon production ended in 2021.
  • Fit means the published size matches. Still check brake-caliper clearance against the spoke profile.
  • All catalogue fitment is US-market (factorywheelwarehouse.com); EU/JDM-only designs are missing for now.
  • Sources: hondanews.eu, hondanews.eu, tdxltd.co.uk, ebay.co.uk, wheel-size.com, en.wikipedia.org.
  • Data confidence: high: tyres and wheelbase from the Honda EU press pack; each rim width/offset backed by two sources.
